The inaugural post

Hello! If you've found this post, I'm truly impressed. It means you like something that I created or you've got mad web search skills.

Below is a card I made for this week's CASology Challenge with the theme of" "Roots." While it would be normal to think plants or flowers, my mind works in convoluted ways so I went with hair. The result is below:

As usual, I used my Silhouette Cameo to make this card. I found this file of the woman and edited it to meet my needs. Then I used sketch pens for the sentiment. Since the lettering for this card is front and center, I used the glitter black pen. (I showed the inside to the right). I made a necklace using Stickles and for a bit more dimension, the wineglass was covered in Glossy Accents. I used my trusty Wink of Stella (clear) pen to jazz up her shoes and mounted the whole thing on Bazzill Swiss Dot cardstock in purple.
